Puer tea is a fermented tea that has been a favorite in China since the Tang Dynasty. It is sold in cakes or blocks and the longer they are aged the more valuable a Puer tea becomes. This Chinese tea gets its name from the town of Puer, where it was first processed and sold. Price is for a 250g Cake of Puer Tea Green Puer is considered the best type of Puer tea, and it is made from Mao Cha leaves that have been steamed and pressed into cakes. After being pressed into cakes or blocks it will slowly age through a natural fermentation process that creates the unique and prized taste of this Chinese tea.
